After being in the Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Base for 6 months I couldn't wait to get home. I bought a new car out in Cali so the only way to get home was a 30 hour drive through 8 states. Of course I took a few photos on my little adventure ACROSS AMERICA.

Interesting Fact - More turkeys are raised in California than in any other state in the United States.

These were the barracks that I stayed in. Equipped with all the modern amenities... like rats.

This is inside the barracks. We have bunk beds because Marines like to sleep on top of each other.

Average speed though Arizona was about 125.

I had no idea it snowed in Arizona.

I finally got some rest in Missouri and I stayed in the first five star hotel I found the Sooter Inn.
